Send this FAQ to a friend:

I get a message saying "Attempted Hack Alert" when I browse a site you host?

Due to some fundamental security issues with Windows hosting we have installed a security system that protects any web sites we host on Windows servers from potential hackers doing damage to those web sites.

Occassionally a user, such as yourself, may get accused of hacking. This could be an issue with your computer or our systems being overly agressive.

Before you contact us about the issue the most common cause is your web browser having unwittingly downloaded a malicious cookie from another web site. This is easily cured by clearing your cookies from your browser history as followed. The exact method for this may vary from browser to browser and there are too many to list here but typing "clear cookies from Firefox" in Google, for example, will bring you up a description of how.
